Requirements for a candidate to be considered for a national officer of the Kentucky State University National Alumni Association (KSUNAA) have been distributed to chapters & members. The application is now available at KSUNAA.org. All components of the nomination application must be submitted online.

If you have not yet established an account on the KSUNAA website, do it now. Not only will you need an account to vote & participate, but you can keep up to date on all the alumni activities.

The following is the text of Dr. Whye's litter posted above:
"Please find the attached requirements and qualifications for a candidate to be considered for a national officer of the Kentucky State University National Alumni Association (KSUNAA). The application is now available at KSUNAA.org. All components of the nomination application must be submitted online. We are requesting that candidates notify the committee at elections@ksunaa.org when your application has been submitted so that we can begin processing. The nomination application must be uploaded to the website by September 15, 2023.
"The Nominating Committee will report on the qualified candidates at the Homecoming General Assembly Meeting, September 29, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the Student Center Ballroom.
The 2024 election will be a totally electronic process. The Nominating Committee will provide instructional support for the voting process beginning February 2024. The election of officers for the KSUNAA will take place on March 1, 2024, and conclude April 15, 2024. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions at elections@ksunaa.org. "

All Candidates MUST be in good standing with the National Alumni Association & a local chapter (if applicable), must have paid all national assessments and are supportive
of the University & Alumni programs. Anyone who submits a petition for office must meet the qualifications below.
President & Vice President MUST have demonstrated leadership skills, not limited to the national or local level.
Recording Secretary & Treasurer MUST have demonstrated skills related to the office being sought.
Financial Secretary MUST have demonstrated skills related to the office being sought.
Member-at-Large MUST be able to represent the point of view of financial members unaffiliated with a local chapter.
Please be aware of deadlines included in the Nominating Committee's Chairperson letter.
